TAP is HD video-based consultation and advise program for education and decision support. The technology allows the GPCA psychiatrist host or participant to join a meeting from a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or video device.

OUR PROGRAM

Tele-A-Psychiatry (TAP) is a grant funded program for Georgia Primary Care Association (GPCA) member network providers to consult with a psychiatrist for questions on screening, assessment and treatment options related to psychopharmacology, SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral for Treatment) and MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment). The consultation will use teleconferencing services (telephone and screen-sharing) for the providers to communicate.

Please note TAP is not an emergency Hot Line. For mental health, addictive disease, and crisis services 24/7 call the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) at 1-800-715-4225.
