The Georgia Primary Care Association is hiring for a Health Data Analyst position.
Top Skills:
- Must be able to work with large amounts of data including facts, reports, figures, and number crunching.
- Must be able to extract data and analyze it for accuracy, trends, or exceptions.
- Must be able to present findings or translate the data into an understandable document.
- Must be able to translate reporting requirements into data collection requirements and diagrams.
- Must understand processes and assist in identifying areas of change that would improve data quality and reduce the data collection burden.
- Must be fluent in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and possess a working knowledge of BI reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in a related field
- Health Information Management or Health Informatics degree
- Knowledge of medical terminology and/or medical practice operations
- Dashboard and report design skills
- SQL query skills
- 2+ years of data analysis experience
- Experience on a healthcare, medical, Medicare, Medicaid, clinical or pharmaceutical project
This position will involve a combination of remote/virtual and physical/on-site work. Some travel will be required mostly throughout the State of Georgia.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary:
- $57,000 to $87,000 per year with excellent fringe benefit package
Schedule:
- 8-hour workday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Decatur, GA 30030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Data analysis skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- SQL: 2 years (Required)
Work Location:
One location with reimbursed travel around Georgia. Occasional overnight stays.
