School-Based Health Center Capital Funding Opportunity (HRSA-19-073)
HRSA recently announced the availability of FY 2019 School-Based Health Center Capital (SBHCC) funding. The purpose of this funding is to increase access to mental health, substance abuse, and childhood obesity-related services in operational school-based health centers (SBHCs) by funding minor alteration/renovation (A/R) projects and/or the purchase of moveable equipment, including telehealth equipment. HRSA expects to make approximately 100 awards of up to $100,000 each for minor A/R and/or equipment. Organizations do not have to be Health Center Program award recipients to be eligible.
Applications are due in Grants.gov by Tuesday, April 17, at 11:59 p.m. EDT and in HRSA’s Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) by Thursday, May 31, at 5:00 p.m. EDT. Applicant resources are available on the SBHCC technical assistance website. A technical assistance webinar will be held:
