Who We Are

The Georgia Primary Care Association (GPCA) is a member service organization representing 35 health centers. We provide training, resources, and implement strategies to increase our primary care workforce. Our health centers serve over 660,000 patients and occupy 231 clinic sites across 129 counties throughout the state.

Recruitment and Retention

The GPCA Workforce Development Program provides career placement services for physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, dental hygienists, and allied health professionals seeking opportunities with our membership of health centers in Georgia.

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and Nurse Corps Programs

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and Nurse Corps Programs provide opportunities to help eligible clinicians relieve their school debt and help health centers retain dedicated clinicians. Visit nhsc.hrsa.gov for more information.

Georgia Loan Repayment Programs

The Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce offers service-cancelable loan repayment programs for loan repayment programs for physicians, dentists, physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses.
